FLOOR PLANs

As part of the Chicopee community, we participate in a single stream recycling system, meaning all accepted recyclables can be placed together in the appropriate dumpster. 

No sorting is required.

Acceptable Recyclables:

• Paper: office paper, mail, newspapers, magazines, junk mail, phone books, and flattened cardboard.
   
• Plastics: containers labeled #1,  #2 and #5  (please rinse clean).
   
• Glass: bottles and jars.
   
• Metal: aluminum, tin, and steel cans (food and beverage); clean foil and trays.
   

Additional Requirements:

• Empty, clean, and dry all containers before placing them in the bin.
   
• Do not include plastic bags, Styrofoam, electronics, batteries, plastic containers labeled #3 through #7, food waste, or other household trash.
   
• Flatten cardboard to save bin space.
   
• If an item is uncertain, please consult the recycling guide shown below for a more detailed list of acceptable items.
